Instead, our carriages run on 100% electric power—so no real horses are spooked, startled, or made to work the night shift. You get the classic, eerie carriage feel with whisper-quiet electric drive (or maybe it’s powered by friendly ghosts… we won’t tell).

  • No. Freakers Ride is designed as an eerie, atmospheric celebration of autumn and local Tahoe ghost lore. There are no actors jumping out or gory elements, making it suitable and entertaining for all ages.

    • Tahoe autumn evenings can get crisp! Warm jackets, beanies, or cozy family Halloween costumes are highly encouraged.

  • Due to limited seating per departure, advance online booking is strongly recommended to guarantee your time slot. Walk-ups are accommodated based on remaining availability.

  • The 6-passenger capacity for the electric carriage applies to any combination of adults and children.

  • Our Hay Wagon can hold up to 20 passengers.

    • Cancellations made 24 hours prior to departure receive a full refund or credit for a future ride.

    • Cancelled due to weather receive a full refund

  • Yes! Non-alcoholic hot beverages (hot cocoa, spiced cider, warm teas) in lidded cups are strongly encouraged. Please avoid glass containers.

  • Check-in is located right at the Bally’s Lake Tahoe Valet circle.

  • Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on Private Carriage bookings only, provided they are comfortable around lights, and nighttime crowds.
